Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of trimalleolar fractures treated with minimally invasive surgery.Method:From January 2013 to January 2014 in our hospital for treatment of 52 patients with trimalleolar fractures, they were randomly divided into control group(n=31) and experimental group(n=21),the experimental group was treated by minimally invasive surgery, the control group was treated by traditional open reduction and internal fixation. The postoperative swelling degree and ankle function evaluation of two groups were compared.Result:The degree of swelling in the experimental group compared with the control group was significantly lower, with a significant difference(P<0.05).The ankle functional recovery of the experimental group compared with the control group significantly improved, with a significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:Trimalleolar fractures treated with minimally invasive surgery can significantly improve the treatment effect, promote the ankle joint functional recovery, reduce complications, reduce the patient’s pain.Minimally invasive surgery has important clinical significance for trimalleolar fractures,is worthy of popularization and application.
