The Comparative Study of the Vaginal Operation and Laparoscopic Operation for Treatment of Ovarian Cyst

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the best method for treatment of ovarian cyst through the comparative study on clinical therapeutic effect of vaginal operation and laparoscopic operation for the treatment of ovarian cysts.Method:88 cases of ovarian cyst were considered from March 2010 to March 2013 in our hospital.42 cases were divided into vaginal operation group while 46 cases were divided into laparoscopic operation group according to the operation mode.The clinical efficacy of two groups were observed and evaluated,the patients were followed up for 6 months,the safety of two operations methods were observed and evaluated.Result:The recovery rate of laparoscopic operation group was 97.83%,while vaginal operation group was 88.10%(P<0.05).The operation time,bleeding volume and ambulation time of laparoscopic operation group were significantly shortened or decreased than vaginal operation group(P<0.05).The hospitalization time had no significantly reduced(P>0.05).The two groups of patients occurred pelvic infection and postoperative fever after operation and recovery after anti infection.The incidence of complications of laparoscopic operation group was 8.70% and that of vaginal operation group was 14.29%,there was statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusion:Both vaginal operation and laparoscopic operation are the most effective treatment for ovarian cyst.Selection should be made according to the concrete indicated.From the recent curative effect and cure rate,laparoscopic operation is more suitable method with the merits of small wound and early recovery.
