Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical effects of Octreotide combined with Propranolol in the treatment of liver cirrhosis with upper gastrointestinal bleeding.Method:150 cases, received from September 2011 to September 2013,suffering from liver cirrhosis with upper gastrointestinal bleeding were divided into observation group and control group,75 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with Octreotide based on conventional treatment, on the basis of this, the patients in the observation group were treated with Propranolol. The clinical efficacy, bleeding and hospitalization time in two groups were compared.Result:The average hemostasis time and the hospitalization time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, the differences were significant(P<0.05).The clinical total effective rate in the observation group was 90.67%,which was significantly better than 76.00%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Octreotide combined with Propranolol in the treatment of liver cirrhosis with upper gastrointestinal bleeding is remarkable, worthy of promotion.
