The Observation of the Curative Effect of Chinese Medicine in the Treatment of Children with Atopic Dermatitis

Abstract:Objective:To observe and analysis of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of children with atopic dermatitis.Method:68 patients with atopic dermatitis from January 2011 to June 2013 in our hospital were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,each groups of 34 cases. The observation group were received resolving dampness by tonifying spleen and stagnation prescription treatment and the control group were given western medicine loratadine treatment.The curative effect were compared between the two groups.Result:There were no significantly different of lesion area,the severity of lesions and itching degree between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05). The lesion area,the severity of lesions and itching degree of the two groups after treatment were all significantly different with before treatment(P<0.05).The lesion area was (1.09±0.79)scores,the severity of lesions was (2.02±1.69)scores,itching degree was (0.90±0.73)scores of the observation group which were better than the control group after treatment(P<0.05). The effective rate of the control group was 76.5%while the observation group was 94.1%after treatment,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(χ2=8.244,P<0.05).Conclusion:Chinese medicine in the treatment of children with atopic dermatitis sure effect,can effectively alleviate the patients skin itching degree,reduce the extent of lesions,it is worth in clinical application.
