Multi-slice Spiral CT Diagnosis of Neck Masses

Abstract：Objective: To study the multi-slice spiral CT findings and CT diagnostic value of the neck masses.Method: Multi-slice spiral CT findings of 37 cases with neck masses were retrospectively analyzed.Result: In the 37 cases, thyroglossal bone cyst in 2 cases, diffuse goiter in 2 cases, thyroid adenoma in 1 case, thyroid carcinoma in 3 cases, thyroid cyst in 2 cases, parathyroid adenoma in 1 case, parotid benign tumor in 2 cases, chronic parotitis in 5 cases, gill cleft cyst in 1 case, ymphangioma in 2 cases, lymph node enlargement in 4 cases, lymph node metastasis tumor in 4 cases, schwannoma in 3 cases, carotid body tumor in 2 cases, cervical abscess in 3 cases.Conclusion: Multi-slice spiral CT plays an important role in diagnosis of the neck masses.
