Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the changes and prognosis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) after nutritional support treatment,and to observe the relationship between the changes of nutritional status and clinical therapeutic efficacy of patients.Method:46 cases with COPD in department of respiration in author’s hospital from January 2012 to December 2013 were randomly divided into nutrition support group (23 cases) and control group (23 cases).Both groups were treated with conventional therapy:anti-infection,spasmolysis,oxygen therapy,and the nutrition support group treated with oral or nasal feeding enteral nutrient fluid on the basis of conventional therapy.The serum albumins of two groups were detected before and after treatment,the improvement rate of two groups after treatment were observed.Result:After 10 days treatment,there were significant differences of the serum albumin and improvement rate between nutrition support group and control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The rational nutrition support can improve the nutritional status of patients in acute exacerbation of COPD,can improve the clinical therapeutic efficacy.
