The Clinical Observation of Orotracheal Intubation Guided by Fiberoptic Bronchoscope Through Laryngeal Mask Airway in Patients Undergoing Cervical Vertebral Surgery
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of orotracheal intubation guided by fiberoptic bronchoscope (FOB) through laryngeal mask airway unique TM (LMA-uniqueTM ) in patients undergoing cervical vertebral surgery.Method: Forty ASA Ⅰ-Ⅱ patients were randomly divided into orotracheal intubation guided by FOB through LMA-uniqueTM group (experimental group) and guided only by FOB group (control group), 20 cases in each group. The duration, numbers and success rate of tracheal intubation were recorded. 24 hours after surgery, complications about intubation were also recorded.Result: The average intubation time in the experimental group was less than that in the control group, one time endotracheal intubation success rate was significantly higher, and the difference between the two groups were all statistically significant(P<0.05). There were no significant difference about postoperative sore throat and hoarseness situation(P>0.05).Conclusion: The technique of orotracheal intubation guided by FOB through LMA-uniqueTM in patients undergoing cervical vertebral surgery, is safe and effective, and is a new way for anesthesiologists to solve difficult airway.
