The Survey of Prevalence and Risk Factors of Hypothyroidism on Pregnancy
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the prevalence and risk factors for hypothyroidism on pregnancy.Method:In this study,we observed 628 pregnant women in Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Zhengzhou City Command from Jan 2012 to Jan 2013.Tested their thyroid function to valuation of the thyroid function.Result:113 pregnant women were diagnosed to be Subclinical hypothyroidism,prevalence of subclinical hypothyroidism was 17.99%,4 pregnant women were overt hypothyroidism,prevalence of overt hypothyroidism was 0.64%.The TSH rising incidence progressively increased with BMI in the pregnant women (χ2=573.40,P<0.05),age had no effect on pregnanct women elevated TSH(χ2=0.437,P>0.05).Conclusion:Subclinical hypothyroidism during pregnancy has a high prevalence,BMI was risk factor.Screening in pregnancy should be strengthened.
