Analysis on Clinical Efficacy and Safety of Percutaneous Vertebroplasty in the Treatment of Spinal Osteoporotic Fracture

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP) in the treatment of spinal osteoporotic fracture. Method:50 cases(61 segments) of spinal osteoporotic fracture in our hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group,25 cases in each. Control group was received conservative treatment,observation group was received PVP.The VAS score,activity score,analgesic score before and after treatment and complication rates of two groups were compared.Result:The VAS score,activity score and analgesic score of two groups before treatment had no significant difference(P>0.05);The VAS score,activity score and analgesic score of observation group after treatment were lower than the control group(P<0.05).The complication rates of two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:Percutaneous vertebroplasty in the treatment of spinal osteoporotic fracture has exact effect.It can quickly relieve pain with fewer complications.
