The Clinical Effect of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in the Treatment of Gastrointestinal Tumor

Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical effect of combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of gastrointestinal tumor. Method:112 cases of gastrointestinal cancer patients were selected from January 2011 to June 2012 in the author’s hospital,by using the method to random number table was divided into the treatment group and control group,all the 56 cases.The control group was given conventional western medicine treatment, the treatment group based on routine western medicine plus Shenlingbaizhu Powder,the amount of addition and subtraction,then observed effect of treatment. Result:Treatment group effective rate was 35.71%,the control group treatment effective rate of 39.28%,comparing efficient therapy for patients with similar between the two groups had no statistical significance(P>0.05). Stable treatment group KPS score increase in 14 cases,34 cases,8 cases of reduction, quality of life was better than that of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Treatment can significantly improve the index of gastrointestinal tumor with traditional Chinese and Western medicine,to enhance tumor control,worthy of further promotion and application in clinical practice.
