Zinc and Folic Treatment Efficacy of 108 Children with Diarrhea

Abstract：Objective:To observe the zinc treatment of diarrhea in children in the United folate clinical effects used.Method:Selection in May 2011 to April 2013 the author’s hospital treated 200 cases of children with diarrhea,according to the parents intend to randomly divide into observation group and control group,the control group(92 cases) treated with routine treatment,the observation group(108 cases ) applied Zinc and Folic treatment on the basis of the control group,the efficacy of the two groups were compared.Result:69 cases of children with the observation group markedly effective in 36 cases,the total efficiency of 97.2%,the consolidated effective was better than children in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Observation group of children with diarrhea and dehydration corrected times were significantly shorter than children in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). During the treatment of the two groups of children were no significant adverse reactions. Conclusion:The combined treatment based on conventional Zinc and Folic fortification of treatment can quickly relieve diarrhea symptoms,comprehensive and effective,and safe.
