Characteristics of Electrocardiograms of HIV/AIDS Patients
Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical features of electrocardiogram in HIV/AIDS patients.Method:The electrocardiograms of 131 HIV/AIDS patients and 120 healthy subjects were evaluated, the HIV/AIDS patients were grouped into classⅠ,ⅡandⅢ,according to the number of CD4+T lymphocytes. Result:54 cases of normal and 77 cases of abnormal subjects were identified in HIV/AIDS patients, with high frequencies of fast arrhythmia,ST-T change and QRS T wave changes.Meanwhile,93 cases of normal and 27 cases of abnormal subjects were identified in healthy groups, with high frequencies of Sinus bradycardia and ST-T changes.Statistical analysis indicated that HIV/AIDS patients exhibited a significant high rate of abnormal electrocardiograms with fast arrhythmia,ST-T changes and QRS T wave Changes(P<0.05).Class Ⅲ patients exhibited a significant general abnormal rate in electrocardiograms with fast arrhythmia than class Ⅰ patients(P<0.05).Conclusion:HIV/AIDS patients are vulnerable in their heart, which is associated with the number of CD4+T lymphocytes.
