Abstract:Objective:To explore the electrocardiogram changes of patients with malignant tumors before and after chemotherapy with paclitaxel. Method:Recorded the electrocardiograph data of the 130 patients with malignant tumors before and 7 days after chemotherapy, and analyzed the electrocardiogram changes including sinus tachycardia, ventricular premature beat, atrial fibrillation,ST-T segment changes and low QRS voltages,et al.Result:There were no abnormal electrocardiograms before the patients received chemotherapy.50 patients were abnormal electrocardiograms after chemotherapy(38.46%).The incidence of abnormal electrocardiograms in the group aged less 40 years was lower than the other groups(P<0.05).The incidence of abnormal electrocardiogram after the 3rd and 4th chemotherapy cycle was higher than the 1st and 2nd cycle(P<0.05).There were no significant electrocardiogram changes between the patients with different tumors(P>0.05).Conclusion:Chemotherapy with paclitaxel could induce eardiotoxicity. The incidence of abnormal electrocardiogram is increased when patients with age older as well as the chemotherapy prolong.
