Clinical Application of Two Kinds of Drugs in the Treatment of Recurrent Aphthous Ulcer

Abstract：Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of chitosan oral ulcer spray and iodine glycerin in the treatment of recurrent aphthous ulcer(RAU). Method:86 cases suffered with RAU were randomly divided into two groups.The test group was treated with chitosan oral ulcer spray,while the control group was given iodine glycerin.To evaluate the efficacy according to a specialized evaluate standard.Result:The total effective rate was 91.90%in the test group,control group was 70.00%,the test group was more effective than that of the control group(P<0.01).The disease course of test group was (4.0±0.6)d,the control group was (6.0±0.8)d,the disease course of test group was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:The efficacy of chitosan oral ulcer spray in treatment of RAU is superior to iodine glycerin.
