Abstract:Objective:By comparing the initial dose of 2.5 mg and 5.0 mg warfarin anticoagulant in patients with atrial fibrillation and the effect of know my domestic population best initial dose warfarin,to provide more evidence for rational application of warfarin.Method:Selected 190 cases with atrial fibrillation in our hospital from January 2009 to December 2012 in our department in the hospital, they were randomly divided into A group(2.5 mg) and B group (5.0 mg), two groups of warfarin dose adjustment, kept INR between 2.0-3.0.And followed up for 3 months, observed two groups of patients of time needed for the target INR,INR increased, and the differences between the major bleeding/thromboembolic events.Result:There was no significant difference in two groups of baseline characteristics.Time needed for A group of target INR and group B are basically identical.A group INR incidence increased significantly below B group. And 5 mg treatment group with one stroke,12 cases had mild bleeding (gingival/nasal bleeding, skin ecchymosis, and blood in the urine),there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with atrial fibrillation in our country, application of warfarin 2.5 mg as initial dose is safe and effective, compared with 5 mg treatment group, the treatment and significantly reduce bleeding complications/embolism,so 2.5 mg can be the best initial dose of warfarin of groups in our country.
