The Randomized Controlled Trial on Preoperative Intestinal Antibiotics Preparation in Colorectal Cancer

Abstract:Objective:To assess the necessity of preoperative intestinal preparation using oral antibiotic in colorectal cancer. Method:Selection from June 2011 to June 2012,the first hospital affiliated to China medical university at the records of 100 patients with colorectal cancer surgical oncology,using the random number table method divided into trial group and control group,50 cases each. Patients preoperative oral antibiotics do bowel preparation,other treatment with traditional way. Control lines of traditional intestinal preparation. After observing two groups of patients before surgery,fecal bacteria cue proportion and postoperative complications.Result:The preoperative intestinal flora,coccus and bacillus ratio were normal in both groups. There were some variation after surgery. 5 cases occurred disorder of coccus and bacillus ratio in test group,and 2 cases occurred diarrhea. However,13 cases occurred disorder of coccus and bacillus ratio in test group,and 8 cases occurred diarrhea. The difference was significant (P<0.05). There was no difference in inpatient time and infectious complications between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Preoperative intestinal preparation need not use oral antibiotic in colorectal cancer.
