Clinical Diagnostic Value of Color Doppler Ultrasound in the Groin Area Mass

Abstract：Objective:To investigate clinical diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasound in the groin area mass.Method:62 patients initially diagnosed as inguinal mass in our hospital from June 2010 to November 2012 were selected as study and checked by color Doppler ultrasound.Result:62 patients after a color Doppler ultrasound determination,25 cases of hernia(17 cases of inguinal hernia,5 cases of direct hernia,3 cases of femoral hernia),the sonogram showed hyperechoic and mixed echogenicity;18 cases of hydrocele sonogram showed no echo;3 cases of cryptorchidism sonogram showed moderate echo;10 cases of lymph node mass(4 cases of lymphadenitis,5 cases of lymphoma,1 case of lymph node metastasis) sonogram showed low weak echo;6 cases of substance mass in sonogram showing non-uniformity in the high or low echo.Conclusion:Clinical diagnosis combined color Doppler sonography is an effective way to diagnose the groin area,test results can be used as a reliable basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
