Abstract:Objective:To investigate clinical effects of non-invasive ventilation in the treatment of COPD combined with typeⅡrespiratory failure, which made guidance for clinical application.Method:143 cases patients admitted to our hospital from July 2009 to July 2012 were divided into control group(given conventional therapy) and treatment group(given non-invasive ventilation),the treatment effects of two groups were compared.Result:(1)The effective rate of treatment group(93.06%) was higher than that of control group(80.28%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)The levels of PaCO2 and PaO2 of treatment group were better than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The hospitalization time, hospital costs, and a year relapse frequency of treatment group were better than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Non-invasive ventilation has a significant effect on treating COPD combined with typeⅡrespiratory failure, which is worthy of clinical widely promotion.
