Curative Effect Comparison of Omeprazole and Famotidine in the Treatment of Reflux Esophagitis

Abstract：Objective:To research effect comparison of omeprazole and famotidine used in the treatment of reflux esophagitis. Method:Select the author’s hospital in August 2012 to April 2013 of 46 cases of reflux esophagitis patients,adopt random grouping pattern distribution as A,B two groups,A group of 21 cases with 20 mg omeprazole;B group of 25 patients were given 20 mg of famotidine tablets.A,B two groups of patients with oral drugs maintain in about two weeks time,late to keep maintaining dose lasts for six months.Result:After reflux esophagitis patients taking omeprazole and famotidine,difficulty swallowing,nausea, heartburn,stomach pain and discomfort symptoms had improved markedly. Among them,21 cases of patients in group A,10 cases were cured ,9 cases were better,and no significant improvement in 2 cases,the overall efficiency was 90.48%;25 cases of patients in group B,11 cases cured,10 cases were better,and 4 cases were markedly improved,the overall efficiency was 84.00%. Conclusion:Omeprazole and famotidine for reflux both can play a role,and medical treatment of the former is more efficient.
