Effect Observation of Different Enema Methods in the Treatment of Abdominal Distension after Gastrointestinal Operation

Abstract:Objective:To study the clinical effect of different enema methods in the treatment of patients with the gastrointestinal postoperative abdominal distention.Method:A total of 76 cases with severe abdominal distention after gastrointestinal surgery or after 3-4 days without exhaust in our hospital from August 2010 to August were selected,and all patients were divided into two groups by the different enema methods.A total of 34 patients in the control group used the 14# disposable anal canal,and anal canal inserted into anus 15-20 cm,and 500 ml physiology normal saline were poured.A total of 42 cases in the observation group used the 14# disposable sputum suction tube,and the tube inserted into anus 30-35 cm,and the 40 ml normal saline enema added with 3 doses for 20 ml/branch of glycerine enema were poured.Effects of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of patients in the observation group was 100%,and that in control group was 73.5%,and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The disposable sputum suction tube method in the treatment of the gastrointestinal postoperative abdominal distention has significant clinical effect,and it is worthy of promoting.
