Research of Nursing Coordination in Holmium:YAG Laser Lithotrity with Ureteroscope

Abstract：Objective:To study the approach of nursing in holmium:YAG laser lithotrity with ureteroscope for the treatment of ureteral calculi. Method:There were totally 203 cases of holmium:YAG laser lithotrity with ureteroscope for the treatment of ureteral calculi,which adopt the approach of nursing coordination during and post operation to reduce complications.Result:According to follow-up visit,the patients recovered well and did not suffer from serious complications,which proved the treatment was a success.The span of operation was 23-79 minutes,(46±8)minutes in average.The rate of successful cases was 96%.Conclusion:The treatment of ureteral calculi with the combination of holmium:YAG laser and ureteroscope results in good clinical effects and less complications. Providing correct nursing during and post operation as well as discharge instruction plays an important role in successful expulsion of ureteral calculi, the decrease of complications and the prevention of calculi reforming.
