Compatibility of Artesunate Spiral Alga of Resisting Liver Cancer SMMC-7721 Cell Activity Research
Abstract：Objective:Research artesunate (artesunate,ART) compatibility spiral alga (polysacchride from spriulina,PSP) inhibition of hepatocellular carcinoma cell line SMMC-7721.Method:Determined by MTT method,respectively ART,PSP,ART and PSP compatibility for liver cancer SMMC-7721 cells inhibition,ELISA method to study the activity of the Caspase apoptosis protein-3.Result:ART could inhibit SMMC-7721 cells proliferation,the IC50 were 45.2μg/ml,34.7μg/ml,22.1μg/ml in 24 h,48 h,72 h.;PSP also could inhibit SMMC-7721 cells proliferation weakly,the IC50 were 157.4μg/ml,140.3μg/ml,110.0μg/ml in 24 h,48 h,72 h;When ART(12.5 μg/ml,25.0 μg/ml,50.0 μg/ml) and PSP(90 μg/ml) joint use,showing obvious synergies.When ART and PSP on SMMC-7721 cells for 48h,could detecte the change of the enzyme Caspase-3.Conclusion:ART and PSP can inhibit the proliferation of SMMC-7721 significantly,their mechanism may be through the induction of apoptosis in tumor cells.
