Research on the Relationship between Degenerative Knee Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis

Abstract：Objective:To study the correlation between the knee degenerative osteoarthritis and osteoporosis among the two,to provide the data for prevention and treatment of bone and joint disease.Method:Knee degenerative joint disease onset of 145 cases of patients,and the healthy physical examination in 123 cases,detecting and analyzing the mineral content of bone,peak bone mass and linear density(bone mineral content) compared with joint disease and healthy people,convicted of relationship between degenerative joint disease and osteoporosis.Result:145 patients were divided into three groups according to age, respectively,compared with the corresponding set of healthy people,145 patients had different degrees of osteoporosis disease,its peak bone mass and density two values were lower than normal person,but there was no difference of statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:Degenerative joint disease is frequently associated with systemic osteoporosis,osteoporotic have certain connection with joint disease,osteoporosis is attack can be as a reference when clinical diagnosis and prevention of joint disease.
