Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of modifying the traditional operation method with the homemade positioning template in the treatment of femoral intertrochanteric fractures in old people.Method:Eight cases with femoral intertrochanteric fractures from September 2012 to December 2012 were included in this study. The indicators were recorded, includes the length of operation incision, the operation time, the volume of blood loss and the hospitalization time.Result:Operation were performed successfully in eight patients. The average length of incisions was 4 cm(from 3.8 to 4.4 cm).The average operation time was 131 min(from 120 to 153 min, including traction and closed reduction). The average volume of blood loss was 105 ml(from 80 to 120 ml).The average hospitalization time was 12 d(from 8 to 17 d).There were no serious complications occurred during perioperative times, and the limb activity was good. Conclusion:Homemade positioning template can improve the surgical procedures of traditional DHS.It can reduce the length of incisions and surgical trauma, and achieve the purpose of minimally invasive.
