Abstract:Objective:To analyse the effectiveness of endoscopic management of laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC)-associated bile leakage.Method:From January 2004 to December 2010,15 patients with bile leakage after cholecystectomy were managed by encoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography(ERCP) and endoscopic nasobiliary drainge(ENBD) in our hospital. To retrospectively analyse these cases and reviewed our experience with the endoscopic management. Result:15 inpatients with cholecystectomy-associated bile leakage all were cured and discharge from hospital after ENBD.The time for indwelling nasal biliary tube was from 5-11 d,average 7 d.The mean hospital stay was 12 d.Conclusion:Endoscopic management of laparoscopic cholecystectomy-associated bile leakage is effective and safe and can be preferred to treat most patients with bile leakage.
