Detection of Moxifloxacin Resistance in Mycobacterium Tuberculosis by Microscopic Observation Drug Susceptibility

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of microscopic observation drug susceptibility in detecting moxifloxacin resistance of mycobacterium tuberculosis(MTB).Method:To use MODS technology to detect 66 clinical isolates of moxifloxacin resistance,and compare with the results of L-J.Result:The 63 cases were concordance,the concordance rates of the susceptibility to moxifloxacin was 95.5%by MODS and L-J,3 cases were not concordance,if the results of L-J as the judgment standard,the sensitivity,specificity as well as accuracy of susceptibility test to moxifloxacin detected by MODS were 100%,96.4%,95.5%. Conclusion:MODS assay can be used for rapid screening of moxifloxacin resistance test for MTB.
