Observation the Clinical Curative Effect of Octreotide Combined with Omeprazole for Treatment of Esophageal Gastric-fundus Variceal Bleeding

Abstract：Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of octreotide combined with omeprazole for treatment of esophageal gastric-fundus variceal bleeding.Method:100 patients of liver cirrhosis with esophageal gastric-fundus variceal bleeding in our hospital from October 2011 to June 2013 were divided into observation group (n=50) and control group(n=50).Observation group was given octreotide combined with omeprazole on the basis of general routine treatment and control group was given octreotide on the basis of general routine treatment.Result:The efficacy,mean hemostatic time,mean transfusion volume,and rebleeding rate in observation group were significantly better than those in control group (P<0.05).Moreover,there was no significant difference in untoward effect between two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:The efficacy of octreotide combined with omeprazole for treatment of esophageal gastric-fundus variceal bleeding is exact.It is worthy to be popularized.
