Screening and Analysis of Preschool Vision Development for 2859 Cases in Jiujiang City
Abstract：Objective:To provide a scientific basis to children’s eye care program in this region by the investigation about development of vision of preschool children(3-7 years old) of Jiujiang City,Jiangxi Province.Method:2859 preschool children(3-7 years old) from 9 kindergartens of Jiujiang Xunyang region were extracted,they were divided into 4 groups:3-4 years old group,4-5 years old group,5-6 years old group and 6-7 years old group.They were given visual inspection(distance vision),comparing with each other.Result:The Low VA detection rate was 25.01%,were significantly different between 5-6 years old, 6-7 years old groups and the other two groups.Conclusion:Low VA rate of children is growing every year,it is meaningful to screen visual function in preschool children.
