Clinical Significance of the Elevated Plasma D-dimer and Its Relationship with Fracture
DAI Hong-hua
Abstract:Objective:To analyse the clinical significance of the elevated plasma D-dimer and its relationship with fracture.Method:The plasma D-dimer concentrations were detected in 9677 patients with the D-dimer determination kit provided by Germany Siemens Company.Result:Compared with control group, the plasma D-dimer concentrations in 608 out of 9677 patients were beyond the normal reference range.Patients with fracture covered the most cases(203 cases).61 out of 203 patients with fracture showed the abnormal rise of D-dimer and had the dynamic change after the surgery. Conclusion:The detection of plasma D-dimer level is not only applied in venous thromboembolism screening and thrombolysis assessment etc,but also has a great clinical significance in thrombosis risk prediction of fracture patients.
