Function and Effect of Oral Rehabilitation Therapy for 68 Cases of Patients with Congenital Missing Teeth’s

Abstract:Objective:To analyse the function and effect of oral rehabilitation therapy(hereinafter referred to as ORT) for 68 cases of patients with congenital missing teeth’s(hereinafter referred to as CMT).Method:From February 2010 to February 2013 in our hospital,a total of 68 cases patients were diagnosed with the disease,which were treated with ORT,then compared the effect after treatment and patients’ satisfaction degree before and after the treatment.Result:The number of cases of successful treatment had 66 cases,the ratio was 97.06%,2 cases of failing treatment,the ratio was 2.94%.And the success cases average length of treatment were (9.0±2.8)months,was significantly less than the failure group of (13.0±0.1)months(P<0.05).Patient satisfaction degree after treatment was 77.94%(53/68),which was significantly higher than before treatment.Patient dissatisfied degree after treatment was 2.94%(2/68),which was lower than before treatment 67.65%(46/68),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Using ORT to treat patients with CMT can improve symptoms,short the treatment time and improve satisfaction degree,the effect is significant and worthy of recommendation.
