Clinical Application of Liver-protective Drug in the Treatment of Tuberculosis

Abstract：Objective:To explore the clinical application of liver-protective drug in the treatment of tuberculosis.Method:40 patients with tuberculosis were divided into two groups including liver-protective drug group(20 cases) and control group(20 cases) from January 2012 to June 2012 in our hospital.All patients were treated by anti-tuberculosis drugs.In addition,patients in liver-protective drug group were also treated with liver-protective drugs,while patients in control group used placebo.Then we compared the changes of patients’ liver function.Result:The level of liver injury in liver-protective drug group was significantly lower compared to control group(χ2=9.8386,P=0.0017).Conclusion:Anti-tuberculosis drug combined with liver-protective drug can reduce the injury of liver function of patients with tuberculosis.
