Effects of Early Intervention on Weight and Height Gain of High-risk Neonates

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of early intervention on weight and height gain of high-risk neonates during first year of life.Method:Born of high-risk neonates from July 2010 to July 2011 were divided into two groups:One was high-risk intervention group,56 cases who was willing to be intervened.The other was high-risk control group,52 cases who wasn’t intervened.66 cases of normal children was normal control group.All children were observed on their weight and height for age.Result:The weight and height gain of high-risk intervention group had caught with the normal control group.The weight and height gain of high-risk intervention group was much more increased than that of high-risk control group.Conclusion:Early intervention makes a significant effect on weight and height gain of high-risk neonates in the first year of their life.
