Sequential Nature Clinical Application of Nutrition Support in Elderly Patients with Gastric Cancer

Abstract: Objective:To discuss in elderly patients with gastric cancer perioperative sequential nutritional support of clinical significance.Method:115 cases of elderly patients with gastric cancer were randomly divided into sequential nutrition (SN) group,57 cases and 58 cases of parenteral nutrition (PN) group, compared to observe two groups of postoperative exhaust time,length of hospital stay,postoperative complications and adverse serum total protein,serum albumin, hemoglobin,lymphocytes and other clinical indicators of change.Result:SN group was shorten the exhaust time,postoperative hospital stay compared with PN group;In the two groups had no serious complications such as anastomotic leakage;In the two groups in postoperative infection of incision,complications such as pulmonary infection,urinary tract infections in comparison difference had no statistical significance (P>0.05);Two groups of patients with postoperative serum total protein,serum albumin,hemoglobin,lymphocytes and other clinical indicators had improved,the more similar between the two groups had no statistical significance (P>0.05).Conclusion:Elderly gastric cancer patients with perioperative application of sequential nutritional support can improve the body nutrition state,the faster postoperative recovery,shorten recovery time has important significance,is worth the clinical promotion.
