Efficacy and Adverse Reactions of Methotrexate and Leflunomide Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis

Abstract: Objective:To study the analysis of methotrexate and leflunomide on the efficacy and safety of the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis patients to better treatment for rheumatoid arthritis give reference.Methods:Rheumatoid facet from October 2010 to November 2012 in our hospital,70 patients for the study were randomly divided into two groups.The control group were treated with leflunomide treatment,the experimental group patients with methotrexate and leflunomide treatment was observed,comparing the efficacy and adverse reactions of two groups after treatment.Results:Experimental group after treatment, the total effective rate of 85.71%,was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);Experimental group patients after treatment of morning stiffness,grip strength,number of swollen joints,joint swelling index,joint tenderness andtenderness index showed significant improvement compared with the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Adverse reactions in patients for the experimental group and the control group comparison,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of combined treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis in clinical work with methotrexate and leflunomide better security,is an effective treatment plan.
