Clinical Application of 128-slice Spiral CT in the Diagnosis of Rib Lesions

Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the clinical application of 128-slice spiral CT in the diagnosis of rib lesions.Methods:45 cases confirmed by surgery and pathology,or confirmed by clinical observe dynamic rib lesions for 128-slice spiral CT examination and post-processing reconstruction.Results:In 45 cases,32 cases of benign lesions,including 10 cases of bone island,9 cases of abnormal bone fibre hyperplasia,cartilage for 5 cases of benign tumors,4 cases of tuberculosis,4 cases of old fracture.13 cases of malignant lesions,including,8 cases of metastatic tumors,4 cases of myeloma,giant cell tumor 1 case. Conclusion:128-slice spiral CT scanning and post-processing technique (including VR and MPR,MIP,or CPR) can complete a rib lesions of small change,it has obvious application value in the diagnosis.
