Analysis of the 4761 Ophthalmological Results in Physical Examination
Abstract:Objective:To study the epidemiological survey of eye disease in 4761 physical examination cases.Methods:By reviewing the physical examination reports from June 2011 to May 2012,and analysis the ophthalmological results in 4761 physical examination.Results:3538 out of 4761 people had eye disease,and the morbidity was 74.31%.The morbidity of male(78.3%) was higher than that of female(67.60%).In which,1684 people had two or more kinds of eye disease. The morbidities of refractice errors,eyelid disease,conjunctiva disease,lachrymal apparatus disease,lens disease,orbitopathy in male groups were significantly difference from that in female(P<0.05).And along with aging,the morbidity was on the trend of escalation in refractice errors,lens disease, retinopathy. On the other hand,the morbidity of conjunctiva disease was significantly higher in younger than that in older group(P<0.05).After the age of 60,the rate of conjunctiva disease escalated again.Conclusion:The morbidity of eye disease become higher in modern society.It is necessary to take ophthalmopathy testing in physical examination.
