16 Slice Spiral CT Angiography for Cerebral Vascular Lesions Clinical Application Value
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the 16 slice spiral CT angiography (CTA) on cerebral vascular lesions clinical application value.Methods:40 cases of cerebral vascular lesions underwent 16 slice spiral CT angiography (CTA) examination of the imaging data were retrospectively analyzed, using a maximum intensity projection (MIP),volume rendering (VR) and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) techniques for 3D reconstruction after treatment. Results:Among 40 cases,16 cases with aneurysm, arteriovenous malformation in 9 cases,4 cases of arterial stenosis ( right anterior cerebral artery stenosis in 3 cases, bilateral posterior cerebral artery:report of 1 cases ),congenital dysplasia ( embryo of posterior cerebral artery ) in 11 cases,40 cases 16 CTA VR,MIP and MPR image reconstruction on the cerebral vascular trunk and its main branches show 100%,and clearly show the location of the aneurysm, shape, size, and peripheral vascular and skull of the relationship, and clearly shows the AVM malformations, feeding arteries and draining veins.Conclusion:16 slice spiral CT angiography imaging technology (CTA ) is a safe, rapid, noninvasive, high accuracy, can be used as cerebrovascular lesions preferred and effective examination method.
