The Value of Gastric pH Monitoring in Patients with Severe Craniocerebral Injury and Stress Ulcer
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the value of gastric pH monitoring in patients with severe craniocerebral injury and stress ulcer. Methods:168 cases of severe traumatic brain injury were randomly divided into two groups.The experimental group(n=84),in 24 h after injury built into the tube,through the monitoring of gastric pH guiding stress ulcer treatment.The control group(n=84),which treated the prevention of stress ulcer drugs after admission,compared two groups of patients the incidence of stress ulcer bleeding and related medical expenses.Results:The two groups of patients with stress ulcer bleeding rate had no significant difference(P>0.05),the related medical costs was obviously lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Gastric pH monitoring guidance stress ulcer treatment is safe,effective and economic.
