The Research about Dexamethasone for Severe Asthma Patients with Respiratory Syncytial Virus Merger Airway Inflammation

Abstract：Objective:To study the effect of severe asthma patients with respiratory syncytial virus merger airway inflammation with dexamethasone. Methods:120 patients with respiratory syncytial virus infections,65 cases a year happened many times are asthma,the admission for acute severe asthma attacks.Will syncytial virus infection patients into inhibitor group (A group=30),doping (B group=35).Simple infection divided into inhibitor C group(n=25), doping D group(n=30).All patients were positive antiviral treatment,including A,C group dexamethasone acetate injection two weeks before the intramuscular injection(daily 8-16 mg),and then do intravenous fluid infusion daily and 8 mg for 2 weeks;B,D group daily atomization inhalation lidocaine 100 mg, continuous 1 months of therapy.Contrast A,B two groups,C,D two sets of patients IL-4,IL-5,IL-13,IFN ppar-gamma level and airway reactivity FEV1, PEF level. And C,D two groups the incidence of asthma.Results:Non lung function monitoring display A,C two groups of airway compliance with higher than B, D group;A,C inflammatory medium level lower than B,D group;In addition there are three cases in D group with asthma,two groups during treatment did not see obvious adverse reaction.Conclusion:Dexamethasone for severe asthma combined respiratory syncytial virus curative effect definite,can reduce airway high reactivity,lower airway inflammation,in addition has a certain role to prevent asthma.
