107 Cases of HIV-infected Pregnant Patients with Combinative Treatment for Blockade of HIV Mother-to-child Transmission
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the influence of combinative treatment for blockade of HIV mother-to-child transmission on HIV-infected pregnant patients.Methods:107 pregnant women identified with HIV infected were given combinative treatment for blockade of HIV mother-to-child transmission from Jan 2005 to Dec 2010.Their newborn babies were given anti-viral drug and artificial feeding.135 HIV negative pregnant women were chosen at random in a hospital of Guangzhou city as control group.Results:All the newborns babies were negative to HIV-Ab (ELISA) at the moment they were born and after 18 months.The WBC,RBC,Hb,and GLB were statistic significant differences between study group and control group(P<0.05),while the hemoglobin,albumin,glucose,total cholesterol,triglyceride were no significant differences between them(P>0.05).Conclusion:Combinative treatment could be effective to blockade of HIV mother-to-child transmission.
