The Etiology Analysis and Countermeasures of Post Cholecystectomy Syndrome
Abstract:Objective:This paper discusses the causes and Treatments of the post cholecystectomy syndrome.Methods:102 cases of the outpatients and inpatients in author’s hospital between 2004 January and 2012 January which are defined as the PCS.According to different clinical characteristics,conservative and operation treatment are taken.Results:Intrahepatic bile duct calculus 13 cases,calculus of extrahepatic bile duct 34 cases,Oddi sphincter stenosis and coarctation of the papilla inflammation 7 cases,duodenal diverticulum 5 cases,cholecystic duct remnant 11 cases,residual gallbladder calculi 1 case,bile duct carcinoma 1 case,pancreatic cancer 2 cases,bile reflux 14 cases,gastric and duodenal ulcer 10 cases,chronic colitis 2 cases,gastric atony 2 cases.2 years of follow-up in this group of patients are gained by the outpatient visits,telephone inquiry,questionnaire survey,letters and visits,hospitalization.The symptoms disappeared 76 cases,apparent remission 18 cases,2 cases of carcinoma of pancreas are died due to multiple organ failure and the remaining 6 patients without apparent remission of symptoms.Conclusion:PCS have complicated etiology,surgical endoscopy,conservative medical and psychological implications can be taken for different causes.
