Nursing and Observation of Senile Patients after Replacement of Artificial Femur by Using PECA
Abstract：Objective:To investigate the nursing and observation of senile patients after replacement of artificial femur by using PECA.Methods:The clinical records of 286 senile patients after replacement of artificial femur by using PECA from January 2009 to June 2012 were retrospectively reviewed to summarize the experience of observation and nursing strategies.Results:Replacement of artificial femur by using PECA restored to stability in all the 286 senile patients and all of them were recovered,without postoperative complications.Conclusion:Using PECA after replacement of artificial femur is effective to improve the pain threshold and to relieve the pains of senile patients,propelling the process of concrescence in fracture and the recovery of senile patients.
