Clinical Comparison of Three Ventriculostomy Surgery and Shunt Surgery for Treatment of Obstructive Hydrocephalus
Abstract：Objective:To compare the efficacy of three ventriculostomy surgery and shunt surgery for treatment of obstructive hydrocephalus.Methods:52 patients with obstructive hydrocephalus applied the ventriculo-peritoneal shunt surgery for treatment were set as the shunt group,52 cases of patients applied three ventriculostomy surgery were set as the gastrostomy group,the efficacy of the two groups of patients was compared.Results:Two groups of treatment efficiency was considerably,but the operative time,incidence of postoperative complications,reoperation rate of the gastrostomy group was significantly better than the shunt group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Three ventriculostomy surgery in the treatment of obstructive hydrocephalus is quick and safe,the efficacy is good,it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
