The Clinical Application of Panoramic Radiography(PR) in Dental Treatment
Abstract：Objective:To assess the clinical application value of panoramic radiography (PR) in dental treatment.Methods:Study the X-ray films of 6148 cases.Results:In 6148 cases of patients with two and more than two rinds of oral diseases. Include caries 4398 cases,periapical diseases 1304 cases,periodontal disease 736 cases,malocclusion 842 cases,impacted teeth (include third molar) 895 cases,congenitally missing teeth 93 cases,fusion teeth 61 cases,jaw fracture 47 cases,odontoclasis 39 cases,luxated teeth 24 cases,benign tumor 63 cases,osteomyelitis 19 cases,tumor 9 cases,temporomandibular joint dysfunction 1 cases.Conclusion:PR plays important part in diagnosis and treatment effect in department of stomatology.
