The Correlation and the Change of Concentration of Brain Natriuretie Peptide and Tumor Necrosis Factor-α in Patients with Congestive Heart Failure
Abstract:Objective:To explore the changes of concentration of BNP and TNF-α and the relationship between BNP and TNF.Methods:55 patients with CHF and 18 healthy control subjects were enrolled in this study,BNP and TNF-α were measured in fasting venous blood, plasma concentration of BNP and TNF-α by ELISA.LVEF and LVEDD were examined by doppler echocardiography. Results:The plasma BNP and TNF-α level in patient group was significantly higher than that the control group(P<0.05).There were significant correlations between natriuretic peptides and markers of inflammation and myocardial dysfunction in CHF patients:BNP vs TNF(r=0.658,P<0.01),vs LVEDD(r=0.613,P<0.01),vs LVEF(r=-0.643,P<0.01):TNF vs LVEDD(r=0.465,P<0.05).vs LVEF(r=-0.474,P<0.05).Conclusion:The plasma concentration of BNP and TNF-α in patients with CHF are much higher than those without CHF,TNF-α is closely related to BNP.
