Discussion and Analyze the Effect of Surgery on Primary Gastric Cancer and Gastric Stump Carcinoma
Abstract:Objective:To observe and analyze the effect of surgery and prognosis of primary gastric cancer and gastric stump carcinoma.Methods:44 cases with primary gastric cancer and gastric stump carcinoma were chosen from March 2002 to March 2012 in our hospital and divided into primary gastric cancer group(24 cases) and gastric stump carcinoma group(20 cases),to analyze the operative time,intraoperative blood loss,hospital stays,postoperative complications,1 year survival rates and 3 year survival rates. Results:The operative time,intraoperative blood loss,hospital stays,postoperative comlications,1 year survival rates and 3 year survival rates of primary gastric cancer patients were superior to the patients of gastric stump carcinoma.Conclusion:The prognosis of gastric stump carcinoma is inferior to primary gastric cancer,doctors should pay more attention to the gastric stump carcinoma,the key to treat gastric stump carcinoma is to diagnosis it as early as possible.Doctors should follow up the patients who are more likely to conduct gastric stump carcinoma.
