Change and Significance of Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor ,Interleukin-6 and Interleukin-8 in Serum of Patients with Viral Myocarditis
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the change of serum macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF),interleukin-6(IL-6)and interleukin-8(IL-8) in patients with viral myocarditis (VM) and its clinical significance. Methods:The serum levels of MIF,IL-6,IL-8,cTnI and CK-MB were detected in 43 patients with VM and 20 normal healthy people as controls. Results:The serum levels of MIF,IL-6,IL-8,cTnI and CK-MB in VM group with the acute stage were higher than those of VM group with recovery stage and control group(P<0.01)and there was positive correlation between MIF,IL-6,IL-8 and cTnI, CK-MB(P<0.05). Conclusion:MIF,IL-6 and IL-8 may take part in the VM pathogenesis, and their can be a new indicator for VM.
