Research on differentiated spatial distribution characteristics of traditional villages based on GIS

Abstract：The article analyzes the differentiated spatial distribution characteristics of traditional villages based on Geographic Information System(GIS)analysis.Using Guizhou Province as the study area,traditional villages and related geospatial data were collected,and GIS technology was employed to conduct an in-depth analysis of the spatial distribution characteristics of traditional villages in Guizhou Province.The results indicate that the geographic concentration index of traditional villages in Guizhou Province is 35.94,and their distribution at the municipal level is highly uneven,mainly concentrated in the central region.The distribution of traditional villages is closely related to river systems,and the number of villages is negatively correlated with elevation.Different types of traditional village layouts each exhibit distinct characteristics in spatial distribution.
