Research on BIM forward water supply and drainage design for a super high-rise office building in Northeast China

Abstract：With the continuous enrichment of building usage functions and the increasing demand for digital design,the application of building information modeling(BIM)technology in the design of water supply and drainage systems is becoming increasingly important.This article takes a super high-rise office building in Northeast China as an example to briefly introduce the process and results of its water supply and drainage BIM forward design,covering key aspects such as model establishment,collaborative design,and result presentation.BIM technology extends from the project proposal stage to the construction drawing stage,running through the entire design life cycle,achieving coherent transmission and efficient application of design data in the water supply and drainage profession,effectively shortening the project design cycle,saving costs,and significantly reducing rework.
