Research on landscape impact assessment method for planning and site selection of scenic area projects

Abstract：The landscape impact assessment of planning and site selection projects has become an institutional requirement for the construction and management of scenic and historic interest areas.Taking the landscape impact assessment of the Houxia Reservoir construction project in Pingliang's Kongtong District on the national-level scenic area of Kongtong Mountain as an example,a landscape impact assessment index system has been constructed,the landscape impact index has been calculated,and the degree of landscape impact has been comprehensively determined.The results show that the landscape impact degree of the Houxia Reservoir construction project in Pingliang's Kongtong District on the national-level scenic area of Kongtong Mountain is of medium to low level.The proposed landscape impact assessment method provides a new approach for evaluating the landscape impact degree of planning and site selection projects on scenic areas,and offers references for urban development and ecological governance under the background of smart city construction.
